This exceptional rice is cultivated by the agricultural company La Mondina located in Casalbeltrame in Piedmont.
Artemide is a black whole rice created in 2005 by SA.PI.SE (agricultural cooperative founded in 1978 from a union between rice producers from Sardinia and Piedmont). It is a natural cross between black venere rice and an indica type rice like basmati.
The grain is long and black.
Currently artemide is one of the most beneficial rice for health because it is very rich in vitamin B and minerals such as calcium, zinc, selenium, iron and magnesium. As well as the antioxidant anthocyanin.
Cooking time: minimum 35 minutes to adapt according to your preference.

This agricultural enterprise is located in the province of Novara in Piedmont. They mainly cultivate rice and various rice-based products (flour, pancake, ...).
In order to obtain a product of excellence, they focus only on 2 types of rice, white carnaroli rice and a whole black artemide rice.
