The I contadini company is located in Salento, which is located on the south-eastern end of Puglia. This place offers virtually sun all year round.
They cultivate, harvest and develop their products themselves only with exceptional raw materials and extraordinary know-how for more than 30 years.
The cultivation of these eggplants begins in May and the harvest begins from July until September.
Cleaning is done manually. Then the eggplants are cut into slices and put raw in a jar in extra virgin olive oil with fresh mint leaves to fully appreciate this incomparable taste.
We suggest you enjoy these eggplants as an accompaniment or on a frisella.
